Art Journaling

I have been a scrapbooker & cardmaker for years & have accumulated lots of art mediums over that time. Watercolor paints & pencils, acrylics, pastels. I have mostly used them for backgrounds & coloring in stamped images.Then the other day I saw the mixed media forum on Splitcoaststampers & thought I wonder if I could do actual pictures with them??? So I bought a mixed media journal & gave it a shot. Now I'll never be a Da'vinci but I'm not as bad as I feared either. So I'm sketching & painting & writing bits of my day & having a ton of fun. Here are some of my first pages.
