Faux Load LO's (pic heavy)

I didn't get around to posting all my Faux Load LO's but I did get quite a few more made. Here's #9 thru #20.

Day #7

The challenge today is to use 4 different colors & no neutrals.Pic is of Hubby's Halloween makeup.

Day #6

The challenge for today was a 2-page sketch. In used pics from my parents Anniversary party.

Day #5

FL day #5 LO. The challenge was to use 5 pics,5 patterned papers, or 5 embellishments. I used 5 PP & 5 ribbons. The pic is of Hubby with an afghan I made him for his birthday.

Day #4 and NSD

It was National Scrapbook Day. So the faux load challenge was to do a Two Peas challenge. I did a tool belt challenge. You had to use 5 different tools. I used 2 different deco scissors, corner rounder, piercing tool,stapler,2 butterfly punches,& a circle punch. The pics are my nieces Easter egg hunting.

This one is a NSD sketch challenge from Scrapbook.com. I used pics from my parents 25th anniversary.

Day Three

The challenge today was to use a technique that you've never or don't often use because it is time consuming. I decided to paint,mist & glitter the chipboard arrows on this page. The arrows are hand cut from cereal boxes.

Here is my second May LO. The challenge was to use a grid design.

I'm doing a faux load over on Two Peas. You're supposed to make a LO a day for the whole month of May. We'll see how many I can get done.

Here's my LO for day one. Lots of scraps & fibers used on this one.

I've done 4 1-page LOs & 2 2-page LOs so far this year.

Hexagon Update & Scrap Ripple 2

Need 320 hexagons for double bed. Have 93 hexes complete,73-3rd round,15-2nd round,39-1st round. This keeps being set aside for other projects.

In working on the hexagon afghan I found I still have many larger scraps or single balls. I've decided to start a ripple with them. I'm up to 60 rows. I'll probably try to do 60 more before I call it done.

Stashbusting in 2013

  I have too much stuff!!! There I said it. I came acrossed this article again recently & I decided that I just have to do something about the state of my stash. http://organizedscrapbooks.com/article71.html Luckily there are quite a few challenges going on this year for stashbusting.

Of course there's the counterfeit kit challenge.
And the scrap our stash blog.
There is a free class at Two peas called scrap-your-stash.
And a weekly thread by one of the Peas. You'll have to look for the current thread each week.
And scrappypedia is hosting a use your stash kit club.
  Lots of inspiration & people to chat with who get that you can't always say no when the pretty paper(ribbon,washi,bling,whatever) calls your name. ;)
  I'm posting a list ,in my sidebar, of the # of layouts,minis,cards & amount of stash used. I'm hoping to create a noticable dent in my stash by the end of the year. Epecially my papers. I'm a little embarrassed by how much I have accumulated.
