Here's that pattern I promised. So simple, but I love the look.
Striped Scarf~with ww yarn & J hook
row#1~ch150, sc in each ch (150sc)
row#2~change yarn & turn, sc in each sc
row#3~turn, sc in each sc
rows#4-10~repeat rows "2&3" 4 times. finish off.
attach first color to last ch of beginning ch, sc evenly across end of scarf.
ch2, hdc in every sc acrossed, ch2, sc across end, finish off & weave in ends.
That would be nice for someone in sports, great way to show off team colors. I'm not but that's what it reminded me of.
